DéCorer are pleased to have started work this week on the newest student accommodation in Shrewsbury town centre. The 86 bedroom apartment block is due to be finished in time for the new intake in September.
Mardol House is being transformed from it’s previous life as an office block into plush new accommodation for students at The University Centre Shrewsbury. The city centre location is ideal for students with easy access to local shops, restaurants and campuses. The office block has been empty for over 10 years and this revamp is just what the town needs.
The office block has been converted into self catering flats with 5-6 en-suite bedrooms and another 36 individual 36 studio apartments. DéCorer in conjunction with Willmott Dixon started work on the project last week and it is projected to be completed by the end of August. All the internal paintwork and decoration will be completed by our team including the shared living areas, bedrooms, reception area and communal areas including stairwells.
